Prior to becoming a coach, Luke served a 34-year (and counting) career in the Department of the Army with 26 years active duty, retiring at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. He has an extensive background in logistics, enterprise systems, strategic/operational planning, and supply chain resource planning. During Luke’s career in the Army, and the government, he gained experience in combat operations, anti-terrorism, logistics operations, velocity management, personnel/organizational management, and physical fitness.
Highlights from this time include being a Combat Veteran of Iraq, Kuwait, Somalia, and being awarded the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, and the United Nations Peacekeeping Medal - among other commendations. His experiences in the Army and Government service started him on the course to becoming a professional coach.
Key Strengths in leadership, decision making, strategic planning, business/organizational development, and communication make Luke an asset to his clients and coaching colleagues. Coach Luke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University with Masters studies in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) from University of South Carolina (Darla Moore School of Business) . In addition, he maintains several important certifications, Luke is a Systems Applications, and Products (SAP) Certified Associate and also holds a Level III Certification with the Defense Acquisition University. He is a graduate of the University of Texas – Dallas, Executive and Professional Coaching Program for the International Coaching Federation, Professional Coaching Certification (PCC). Luke is a member of the International Coach Federation, Virginia, and the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
